The desired start date is 1 January 2025. The research assistant will support the international project "Institutional rules and their effects on cabinet and ministerial durability in advanced democracies" (funded by the German Research Foundation).
Tasks include:
- collection, coding, and preparation of biographical data
- assistance with data analysis
- support in the organization of workshops and conferences
- support in literature research
Prerequisites:
- MA student in social/political science
- confident in the use of Office Programs
- very good knowledge of English spoken and written is required
- knowledge of another western language (e.g. French), Asian (e.g. Japanese) or Eastern European language are desired
- very good knowledge of STATA (and SPSS or R)
- good knowledge of Data preparation
- good knowledge of quantitative Methods

- Pay according to standards of the University of Cologne for research assistants: at the moment 14,80 Euro/hour for students with a Bachelor degree.
