The prize, which is awarded by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Statistisches Bundesamt), honors outstanding Bachelor, Master and PhD theses that analyze statistical data in an innovative way. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Trampusch and Dr. Michael Schwan, Mr. Kläffling’s thesis “Corporate Governance and Corporate Savings in Advanced Economies” investigates the puzzle of firm behavior and a lack of investment.
