On January 16, the cologne students team led by Prof. Proksch (CCCP) won the debate competition "NRW debattiert Europa". The competition, honoured with the european PADEMIA teaching award, took place at the university of Duisburg-Essen and the debate was conducted in the "Wartburg-Format", allowing the audience and the teams to heat the discussion up with interventions. The cologne team, master students of political science Ann-Katrin Schäfer, Zeynep Tastekin, Katharina Wienke, Kevin Brüssel and Felix Reich, could prevail against the competing teams from Düsseldorf, Wuppertal and Duisburg-Essen.
